Senior Software Support Engineer - Birmingham- £40,000 - £45,000A world leading global software client in the call centre and telephony industry is now looking for 2 senior java based support engineers to join them. These roles have come about due to a very large project being won they are wanting to on-board 2 people to join them with fantastic career progression in the future.
The Role:
Maintaining released products by developing software maintenance releases. The role involves some business travel to client sites when required a long with the flexibility of home working when required.
You will be working on large projects involving software which provides various functions across different areas of the contact centre, including Systems Integration and Management Information Services.
Key responsibilities including assisting the support team with ongoing problems along with producing scheduled and none scheduled software updates and new releases. You will also be developing tools and techniques to assist the product team.
Required Skills:
* Java and SQL.
* Microsoft SQL Server / Oracle
* Multi-threaded applications
* Understanding of Contact Centre telephony and CTI or any experience in telephony
