SAP Migration Manager - SAP Implementation - 6 month contract - up to £400/day - Uxbridge
SAP Migration Manager urgently required. A programme of work is currently being undertaken by my client to implement a new target operating model. We need to simplify and streamline the organisation, take out costs, and operate more quickly.
This involves implementing a new SAP system, outsourcing activities to a Business Process Outsourcer and moving work from European Markets to a Business Service Centre in the UK.
In order to facilitate this transformation a migration manager is required.
Responsibililties
- Implement the client's target operating model, migrating finance processes from European markets to an outsource provider in India and a Business Service Centre is the UK
- Manage the end to end migration program for the European markets.
- Act as the common face to the markets from a Core Business Services, ERP stand-point for the identified markets
- Manage key in-market stakeholders from a governance, objectives and Core Business Services Finance expectations point of view
- Build confidence with the European markets that the migration will be successful
- Ensure that all risks/issues are addressed via a robust governance process to ensure stakeholders are managed
- Work closely with the Solution Design Lead, Knowledge Transfer Lead, BSC Team and other program team members to implement the migration
- Manage the overall go-live, cut-over and stabilisation as per the Tollgate methodology defined by the Core Business Services Central Program
- Produce detailed migration plan and track deliverables, ensure this fits together with the system implementation plan to ensure overall delivery
- Ensure that the business owner's expectations and objectives are met as the key recipients of the service
Skills and Experience
- A strong, confident individual with excellent influencing skills
- Experience in transitions or Business Process Outsourcing

- Effective communication, networking and relationship building
- Strong communicator capable of influencing at senior levels across the organisation
- Self starter
- Competent at managing multiple stakeholders.
