EDT Global are working with an established organisation that are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. (Must be Australian Citizen)
The role of Project manager will see the selected candidate taking on a wide variety of programs of work such as (transition, Software development, system engineering projects)
The role has been positioned as a 12 month fixed term contract and we would like an ASAP start if possible.
Expressions of interest are invited from talent with demonstrated experience in the following:
10 + years in a Program and project management delivering IT, System Engineering or Software Dev/Design & Transformation projects
Strong system engineering and/or systems integration project management background ideally with experience of Agile and Prince2/ITIL is preferred
Track record in managing large project management professionals
Ability to understand and maintain strategic direction and can articulate the business context of the program strategies
Strong commercial experience of Service delivery in IT environments
Strong transition management experience
Capacity to run both small and large projects
Experience of software design and development projects
Ability to quickly develop a network within an organisation and understand how to productively influence senior managers
Exceptional ability to build strong client relationships
Have high level leadership experience
Experience of working in multi-vendor environments
A proactive approach to solution delivery with the drive to always exceed the client's expectations
Experienced in program reporting and analysis including; risk, profitability, delivery, invoicing etc.
Superior communication and negotiation skills.
Team orientated approach
In addition to the above its expected that candidates will have:
IT Service Management, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Problem Management (ITIL certified V3 Foundation or Expert)
Tertiary qualifications (Engineering or IT related)
