Description
An Internal Auditor is required to work for an international Consultancy company based in Central London. This is a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave and we will be reporting to the Group Audit Manager. This position is to start ASAP, they ideally want someone on board by September.
Working for a leader in their market and a rapidly growing organisation you will work closely alongside the Group Audit Manager and will be solely responsible for managing their internal audits internationally across the EMEA region.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
Undertaking audits in line with the Group Audit Plan, identifying weaknesses in the control framework and delivering recommendations for improvement
Tracking, monitoring and report actions agreed as a result of the internal audits
Following up on all completed audits within the required time frame to assess the implementation of audit recommendations
Plan and conduct audits in line with the Group Audit Plan
Follow up on all completed audits within the timelines specified in the Group Audit procedures
Assist the Group Audit Manager with completion of reports for the Audit Committee
Complete any ad hoc tasks/Audits requested by the business
Maintain the Group Audit reputation within the business
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working for an international commercial company in the capacity of internal auditor. You will ideally be qualified or qualified by experience with 1-2 years' internal audit experience. Prior experience of Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial but not essential. Experience working in the consultancy industry or professional services industry where you have an understanding of time billing would be beneficial. This role will involve 30% travel internationally and you must be happy to commit to this in order to be considered.
