Location: Plano, TX
Position Type: 9 month contract (with potential to extend)
We have an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Cisco MPLS Engineer that has experience with the following platforms: Cisco 7206, 7609, GSR, 3750, and Alcatel-Lucent 7750. This is a 9 month contract position (potential to extend) with a preference for Dallas, TX candidates. However, the work is able to be done remotely from anywhere so qualified individuals located throughout the US will also be considered.
REQUIRED:
1. Minimum 2 to 3 years experience with MPLS and Cisco Routers and Switches.
Platforms include: Cisco 7206, 7609, GSR, 3750, and Alcatel-Lucent 7750.
2. Experienced building Cisco configurations for basic changes to include policy maps, new VRFs, and clean-up work orders.
3. Experience working NOCC, GNOC and TNOC operation centers.
4. Experience with the full life cycle of migrating circuits from an existing MPLS platforms to a new platform.
EDUCATION:
4 year degree in Computer Science highly desired!
CERTIFICATION:
CCNA and/or CCNP highly desired!
