MS Lync Video Conference/CISCO video conference systems/Audio-visual systems
My global customer is planning to migrate their Learning Academy to newly refurbished areas.
The new Learning Academy requires:
- 76 new training rooms reusing as much of the existing audio-visual equipment as possible.
- 3 new IPTV screens in open areas using their existing IPTV system.
- 2 new Video Conferencing rooms.
Required Skills:
- Proven track record of Audio-visual systems design and implementation.
- Skilled in the implementation of CISCO video conference systems.
- Formal CTS-D or CTS-I or equivalent qualifications.
- Formal video conference technical qualifications.
- Track record of implementing audio-visual solutions.
- Experience with MS Lync Video Conference integration
Responsibilities:
- You will be expected to help the customer shape their requirements.
- Review the proposed architecture plans for the new Learning Academy and provide a written assessment of the basic AV design.
- Audit the existing 60 training rooms and provide a written assessment.
- Consult with the user representatives to capture their AV requirements for the new training rooms influencing reuse of the existing equipment where possible and defining new requirements including three IPTV screens and two video conferencing rooms.
- Document the captured requirements in a Prioritised Requirements List in such a manner that it can also be used as an RFI.
- Work with their IT Procurement team to perform a fast track RFI and evaluate costed responses with three suppliers.
- Present the RFI evaluation, high level design, costs and timescales to user representatives and the IT project team and agree next steps.
