Senior Implementation Architect - wholesale finance ITTo be eligible for this role, applicants must have:
- Experience in the wholesale financial IT sector
- Experience working as an Technical Architect on large projects in the financial IT sector
- Mastery of middleware technology
The job is to align IT with business needs from both a functional and a non-functional perspective, with a focus on time and cost-efficiency. Responsibilities are centred on rolling-out design documentation, creating architectural parameters, supporting delivery teams and shaping the IT solutions.
By large projects, our client means in excess of ten thousand mandays. Previous job titles might include Application Architect, Integration Architect, Technical Architect or any such combination. What is necessary is business knowledge of a CSD (Central Securities Depository) or an ICSD (International Central Securities Depository) and expertise in production support and intervention.
The client uses and requires knowledge in the following technologies: IBM zOS, HP Tandem NonStop, WebSphere MQ, DB2, CICS, Cognos, CA7, SWIFT, Windows, Unix, .Net, Sysplex, PLI and Connect:Direct.
