A worldwide pharmaceutical company specialised in producing high-quality generic products is urgently looking for a Validation Engineer to join their team.The company has gaps in their thermal sterilisation validation systems, and requires an experienced engineer to solve these issues.
Location: Athens, Greece
Duration: 6 months
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessment into any gaps in the thermal validation system, and evaluate the impact of these on finished batches
- Review and update validation master plans (VMP) and annual revalidation programs for thermal validation
- Write justifications for any changes in the VMPs
- Drive forward the implementation of the new validation plans and ensure the site team is able correctly execute the validation protocols associated with this
- Focusing on equipment such as autoclaves, ovens and sterilisation tunnels
Requirements:
- Preferably degree educated in engineering or scientific discipline
- Pharmaceutical industry experience within a sterile production environment
- Experience in thermal sterilisation validation of autoclaves and similar equipment
- Knowledge of temperature mapping using the KAYE validator
- Strong GMP understanding
