the Job
New role for a full time JavaScript developer working on new UI and API implementations.
You will be working on application development using our communication services API which integrates traditional telephony, chat, and video, as well as PBX configuration and logging. This will also involve working with members of the team developing and extending the API.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a developer with expert JS programming and HTML5 DOM skills and an innate ability to produce elegant, well structured code which implements complex real time interactions. AJAX is core and experience both using and implementing major API technologies (REST/JSON/SOAP) is a plus.
No one technology or application area is key and flexibility with the ability to quickly assimilate information to become effective in emerging technologies is the most important attribute. Some experience in one or more of following adjacent application and technology areas in addition to core HTML5/CSS3 may however be an initial advantage:
- WebRTC - peerConnection
- WebSockets
- XMPP
- C++
- JavaScript Call Management APIs (e.g. Salesforce Open CTI etc)
- Linux or BSD OS
Salary:
28,000-32,000 DOE
