A new 15 month contract opportunity has arisen for a SAP Consultant specialising in SRM and MM Modules, to join this well recognised, large scale Queensland Organisation.The SAP Consultant will be providing high level expertise in Procurement and Materials Management Consultant with experience in workflow to transition and support the new SAP ERP6 environment.
Key Responsibilities for the SRM & MM Consultant will be as follows:
You will have responsibility for the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
Design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP functionality for MM/SRM SAP modules to enhance business functionality
Provide SAP functional consulting and support to the department and SAP knowledge transfer to the wider support team as required Strong ability to understand business processes and recommend options and implement solutions to enhance business performance and reform business processes
Provide relevant SAP functional expertise, guidance and training to end users as required
Ability to translate business needs into well written, unambiguous functional requirements and deliver business requirements using standard SAP functionality
Participate in a multi-disciplinary professional operational support team, undertake operational tasks and contribute to deliverables to support the specific scope and objectives of the SAP support unit.
Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of operational plans and schedules, including the coordination of activities or teams associated with achieving the support objectives.
Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with support stakeholders and team members in relation to support activities.
Work independently when required to achieve agreed outcomes.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality support related processes and procedures to ensure a high quality outcome for clients of the support unit Provide knowledge transfer to other team members
To be successful for this role you will require the following key experience and skills to be considered;
Demonstrated high level expertise and experience as a SAP functional analyst in the SAP MM/SRM modules with workflow experience including the ability to translate business needs into well written, unambiguous functional requirements and deliver business requirements using configuration of SAP functionality
Experience in the full project life cycle, including Blueprinting, Design, Technical, Integration, Testing and migration
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and innovative problems solving skills
Develop and recommend options and implement solutions to enhance business performance and reform business processes
Experience In ERP 6 and support related role SRM 7 experience
Desirable Requirements:
Experience working in government environment with Prince 2 methodology SAP certification would be highly regarded 5 years plus SAP MM configuration
