RAN Performance Engineer/Network Planning, Performance and Optimisation
I am currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity working for a major telecoms organisation based in Berkshire, focusing on the 2G, 3G and 4G/LTE radio network planning, performance and optimisation on a major network consolidation.
We are after senior RAN Performance Engineers who have experience of working with Ericsson equipment in a network planning, performance or optimisation capacity.
Candidates must have worked in this capacity in the UK and have a solid understanding of working alongside both UK operators and vendors previously. Having worked on a live LTE network will be considered a bonus, but is not an essential requirement.
Candidates with a strong understanding of Ericsson RBS equipment in a network performance role, ideally RBS6000, and who have used such network performance and optimisation tools/software as Atoll, Record, Evenflow, MapInfo, TEMS, Ericsson OSS and Enterprise (Asset) previously will be extremely relevant for this position.
This role has an initial contract until the end of 2013 and is likely to extend due to a large workload.
