One of our clients, a multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry, currently requires an Experienced International Buyer with at least 8 years experience in Procurement across multiple spent categories.

JOB FACTORS
Mission Purpose and Key Responsibilities:
* Support for Capital Expenditure Procurement
* Identify potential suppliers and market opportunities/organize meetings with relevant suppliers/Follow suppliers technical review/Proceed with financial analysis
* Understand, review and Challenge Company needs and project planning.
* Formalize and submit sourcing strategies
* Lead tender, including process management, commercial (including contract) negotiation, sourcing decision.
* Ensure good respect of the procurement process (from tender to contract expediting)
* Contracts follow-up, tracking of Suppliers Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Supplier Evaluation & data collection for Business Review Meetings
Accountability:
* Ensure that tools & strategies developed are implemented to meet business targets in order to meet customers' expectations, compliance requirements, and cost effectiveness,
depending on the project constraints
* Introduce procurement in the earliest stage of project to define the best procurement approach in order to optimize cost and project timing
* Develop strong interface with internal customers in order to implement the procurement process & tools
* Reduce cost, increase efficiency by employing operational excellence where/when appropriated
* Ensure that procurement is involved during the claim management to lead all negotiation with contractors
* Ensure Supplier Compliance with Terms and Conditions of Contracts/Frame Agreements

* Work in a changing/evolving environment, with proven experience ofinfluencing/adapting user behaviors; leveraging past experience/industry knowledge to continuously motivate change
outside area of direct responsibility
* Early involvement of procurement need to convince people of the addedvalue
* Manage international level, multiple stakeholders and cultural differences.
* Manage procurement aspects of projects with multiple clients(manufacturing sites)
Specialized Knowledge:
* Min 8 years Procurement experience across multiple spent categories(Capex, Opex).
* Experience of international project procurement (global strategy and implementation on multiple sites)
* Flexible thinking in change development, implementation and management
* Result oriented, and able to develop and present strong arguments toconvince of the need for change
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Good French & English communication skills, both written andspoken.
