Description
A Global BioPharm based in Slough require a Medical Advisor within Neurology for a 3 month contract for 2-3 days per week to be predominantly homebased.Main duties -
-To maintain, and continuously update and develop, clinical knowledge and experience in relation to Neurology products and therapy areas, such that business opportunities are recognised and developed.
-To provide a scientific duty of care and ensure the benefit/risk of neurology products is understood and remains appropriate.
-To provide expert opinion and, when appropriate, training for internal and external customers on relevant products and the neurology therapy areas.
-To maintain regular and frequent contact with KOLs in the UK and to build contacts with international opinion leaders. To act as a medical ambassador in representing the medical position with these customers and with associated medical organisations.
Requirements-
-Medical graduate with GMC registration and a license to practice (via re-validation or participation in PMST) and/or PhD in a clinical science.
-2 - 5 years previous pharmaceutical industry experience.
-Knowledge/expertise in Neurology.
-Knowledge of, and current training in, the ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry and applicable Regulations governing the control and supply of medical information and advertising.
