Description
A Senior Automation Engineer is required to join a Global Pharmaceutical company based in Ireland. The project is a new build syringe line and transfer of a new product into an existing vial line on-site. The main focus is on the development and the delivery of the Automation scope of the IS Program for Disaster Recovery.The Role:
* To liaise with the IS system owners to identify the critical system components and required backups.
* To define a backup plan for each system and aim to minimise recovery time and systems failure.
* To liaise with the IS Program Project Manager to devise a project schedule.
* To develop and deliver the system procedures including backup, restore and disaster recovery.
Skills / Experience:
* In-depth experience in implementing and supporting automation systems in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience with Siemens S7 and ideally a knowledge of iFix.
* Experience of demonstrating delivery and management of Automation systems and working on GAMP software would be an advantage.
