Description
A financial trading firm in Chicago is currently seeking a business operations project manager to join their PMO for a full-time position. The project manager will be responsible for multiple projects across the Future and Operations, OTC and FX trading space. This is a full time position located in downtownChicago.The project manager will be re responsible for driving process improvements and determining policy and procedures that will direct the efforts of the PMO between the Risk, Trading, Accounting and Operations offices. Many of the projects will revolve heavily around the trading space, so previous financial experience, and hands-on work with financial products is required.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Managing the full life cycle of software development projects
- Innovating project management procedures and practices
- Managing direct and matrix reports of 3-15 employees
- Working closely with the IT Development teams, Business Analysts and QA teams.
Qualifications for this role include:
- 3-5 years of business analysis or project management experience
- 3-5 of experience within the financial space
- Hands on experience with Futures and Options, FX or OTC
- Working knowledge of SLDC
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Visio and Power Point
- Bachelors Degree in Economics or Finance
