- Job Title: Income Accountant

Real Staffing are working in partnership with an NHS Acute Trust in the South East, who require a hands-on Income Accountant to provide all-round support to an understaffed area of the department.
This is an ideal opportunity for an NHS Income Accountant who is looking to play a significant role in ensuring the Income and Contracts Team achieves its monthly targets.
The Income Accountant will be expected to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
- Handling income queries and disputes
- Monitoring the income of provider contracts
- Providing income variance analysis and interpretation
- Invoicing and billing of trust SLAs
- Month end closure of accounts
- Data manipulation through Excel pivot tables
- Creating income tables for board reports
- Generating SLAM financial reports
- Advising on financial implications of PbR changes
- Liaising with budget holders and management
Essential Skills:
- NHS Acute Trust
- CCAB Part-Qualified
- Income Accountant
- Knowledge of NHS principles (SLR, PLICS, PbR)
- Strong system skills (Excel, SLAM)

Rate is negotiable and will be determined based on the quality and experience of the successful applicant.
