Senior Reporting Accountant (12 month Fixed Term Contract), Coventry, £40,838 - £51,332
My Client, a Global leader in the Energy Sector is looking to recruit Reporting Accountant into their existing team. This 12 month contract is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to come in and make an impact within a company who turn over £10B and have a multi-national presence. Duties for the role will include:
*Driving an effective financial control environment through use of systems, processes and people
*Acting as a key interface with the wider Financial Control Team
*Liaison with Senior operational and Finance Managers across Regional business units
*Analysis of business performance against financial plans by using a sound knowledge of the business and its project pipeline
*Preparing financial forecasts which inform business strategies and decision making
*Assessing opportunities to streamline the accounting and reporting sections from implementing improvements in the systems
The following person specification will make for an excellent match:
*Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with 5+ years experience
*Strong systems experience (SAP, Essbase, ICE)
*Strong modelling experience
*Strong interpersonal and inter-departmental engagement skills
*A desire to further your career
