Fantastic Onshore HSE Advisor opportunity.
My client is recruiting for an experienced HSE Advisor with thorough knowledge of current Regulatory legislation and reporting; in particular, HSE-OSD legislation and RIDDOR reporting requirements.
The HSE Advisor will have expertise and sound knowledge in Health, Safety and Environmental management practices accompanied by a working knowledge of environmental issues. Part of an onshore based HS&E team, Embedded within one of the Operational, groups, and reporting to the Health & Safety Manager (Operations).
The role is primarily to ensure the provision of HSE support to the business. In addition, the Advisor shall retain a degree of independence from operational activities in order to provide appropriate and impartial advice and provide challenge in respect of HSE matters.
Key skills
*Extensive Industry HSE experience in providing support to offshore operations.
*Thorough knowledge of current Regulatory legislation and reporting; in particular, HSE-OSD legislation and RIDDOR reporting requirements
*Experience in supporting production operations, drilling, and projects.
*Audit and Incident investigation experience both safety and environmental
*Strong communication and interactive/participative team skills.
Qualifications Needed
*Degree in Safety/Engineering related subject or equivalent (desirable) OR relevant industry experience.
*IOSH/NEBOSH qualified (preferably Registered or Chartered Safety Practitioner).
*IEMA environment Certificate or equivalent.
