System Management Tools SME - HP BTO, Tivoli, EMC Ionix - £600 pd - LDN
My client, a niche consultancy working with a global logistics oraganisation, are seeking an exceptional System Management Tools Subject Matter Expert to join their team. You will be working in Tandem with the Platform Stream Lead, providing your expertise and direction on tool recommendation, selection and implementation.
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrate a solid knowledge of products in the marketplace
- Familiarity with any of the following products is a plus;
- HP BTO
- IBM Tivoli Management
- vCloud Automtion Center
- EMC Ionix UIM
- Have experience integrating vendor products with BMC's toolsets
- BMC Remedy for request, incident, problem, and change management
- BMC Atrium for CMDB
- Have experience with design and delivery of a similar environment/project, a private cloud implementation inclusive of service catalogues, request and provisioning workflows and automation, configuration management, operational monitoring, chargeback and life cycle management.
- Be able to articulate to SMEs and management the choices, rationale for recommendations, issues to consider and likely risks
- Have a track record of delivery
- Have clearly demonstrable skills and experience in project management, proposals including business cases, presentations and report writing
- Have 5-10 years experience and been at a senior level in systems management and tools domain
- Proven track record in Remedy development and implementations within a large corporate environment
- Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the different views of IT services required by the business versus IT
- Preferably ITIL Foundation qualified
- BMC qualification would be useful
