Senior Regulatory Consultant- Manchester- Competitive daily rate
Senior Regulatory Consultant is required to manage a Regulatory Risk unit for a major Financial Services client based in Manchester.
Your main role will be to ensure the first line have effective control frameworks, including systems and processes to ensure that current and future exposure to regulatory risk is identified, measured, managed, monitored and reported - with a focus on conduct risk (fair treatment of customers).
You will also lead on subject matter expertise regarding conduct risks.
To be considered you will possess the following key skills and experience:
- Subject matter expert for regulatory requirements applicable to the financial sector;
- Good knowledge and experience of managing Regulatory Risk;
- In depth understanding of the regulatory environment in the UK financial services sector;
- In depth, up to date knowledge of internal and external Regulatory Risk developments and practices;
- In depth knowledge of UK financial services industry, competitor activity, market developments and emerging market trends;
- Excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills, able to present effectively at meetings with senior managers and executive directors;
