Description
A top financial services software vendor requires a Senior C# Server Side developer to join the team to focus on one of their key applications.The company are currently developing an execution management system for their clients which allow them to view transactions in real time. The role will see you in a position responsible for full lifeycyle development using TDD and agile methodologies. The role will require you to assess various systems with a view to design, develop and optimise system performance.
Key Requirements:
- C#.net, Visual Studio
- Expert Server Side programming (WCF)
- Strong SQL Skills (Stored Procedures, Indexing, Query Plans)
- Experience of multi-threading and/or high concurrency systems
- Advanced knowledge of messaging protocols (WebServices, MQ etc)
- XML and XSLT preferable
- Analytical thinker, someone who is interested in developing well designed and efficient software
- Financial Services knowledge and experience.
This is a 6 month rolling contract based in London City. Ideally looking for individuals available immediately or with short notice.
Daily rate is up to £400 per day dependant on experience.
