Description
A Planning Enforcement Officer is required for a large public sector organisation.
The successful applicant will be required to assist the Principal Planning Officer and Area Manager in carrying out the full range of planning enforcement and investigation duties within Development Management
The roles and responsibilities include:
*Monitor development to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with planning permissions granted
*Carry out site visits and prepare reports/notices with recommendations on enforcement related matters
*Investigate and record complaints concerning the alleged unauthorised use or development of land
*Report to and/or attend any meetings as requested
*Contribute to the overall objectives of the Development Management Service and to participate in multi-disciplinary teams as required.
