Description
Key Responsibilities & Duties:- 30% automated testing, 70% manual testing
- Defines the test strategy in collaboration with business analysts and development teams
- Designs and plans testing conditions, test scripts and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control in liaison with the Technology Environment Analyst
- Closely liaises with the business users / business analysts and facilitate user acceptance testing
- Provides reporting on test progress, test outcomes, success rates, issues and risks
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in quality assurance
- 2+ years experience within the trading or financial industry
- At least 2+ years experience automation
- Mid level SQL experience
- Scripting experience preferential: (python, perl)
- Knowledge of test environments, tools and infrastructure
- Good working knowledge of Client/Server applications and testing issues
- Testing theory, methods, techniques and tools
