Key Responsibilities and description of Role:
  • Re-Design the training program for the drilling engineers
  • Update the details and materials for training programs
  • Ability to understand the way people learn and cater to it by designing a successful training program
  • 5 years of experience in Design and Development roles
  • Oil and Gas Experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Working closely with the SMR's and SME's to develop this material
  • Conduct a detailed needs analysis of learning requirements including targer learners, learning environments and content analysis
  • Provide support to existing clients to manage existing material by using technology and revising changes in accordance with the company's needs
  • Advise teaching and administration staff in curriculum development
  • Applied knowledge of adult learning theories and processes
  • Excellent written, oral and visual media communication skills


Preferred and Special Requirements
  • Applied knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Ability to conduct front end analysis
  • Knowledge of assessment techniques adn ability to conduct evaluation of training programs
  • Ability to travel internationally, if necessary.
  • Articulate Authoring software experience is highly desirable but not essential
  • Human Resource Development/Instructional Design Degree or Certificate
