Description
SQL SSAS Specialist is required by my client who sits within a strong investment bank based in London. The reason why they require a SQL SSAS specialist is because they are mid way through a project and have more projects on the horizon of developing SQL data warehouses for the market and credit risk functions of this bank. This is a very strong regulatory team who are at the forefront of the risk space. Their current project is to finish an existing build of a SQL data warehouse and to performance tune the cube so that it can support various reporting functions.This niche team is looking to expand due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver cutting edge SQL technologies to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong developer who has the ability to develop SSAS cubes and SSIS package solutions and will have an opportunity to take the lead in implementation projects.
This role will require you to build out the new database system as well as liaise with different areas of the business on a daily basis.

Essential Skills
- Strong SSAS MDX experience
- Experienced data warehouse developer
- Strong database development experience
- SQL 2008 and creation of SSIS packages
- Investment banking product knowledge is essential
- Experience within investment banking is ESSENTIAL
