Description
WPF Developer - Nottingham - 6 MonthsAs a Software Engineer, you will be expected to have:
* A minimum of 18 months experience of developing commercial applications in C# within a busy team atmosphere;
* Knowledge and experience of WPF development;
* A full understanding of Object Orientated Design and Programming;
* An extensive knowledge of the .NET framework (v3.5 or later);
* Skills in relational database design and development.
Although not essential, the following would be highly advantageous:
* Developing N-Tier applications;
* Knowledge and experience of common design patterns (such as MVVM);
* Unit testing and TDD;
* Developing complex client/server applications;
* Health care and Clinical systems;
* Working with Microsoft SQL ;
* Developing Multi-user systems;
* The Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF);
* The Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF);
* Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) in relevant areas.
