F&DT Engineer
We currently have a new requirement for an F&DT Engineer with Signatory status to work on a new 6 month contract role. The role is based in the South West and boasts attractive rate Dependent upon experience.
You will:
- Perform F&DT analysis to defined client methodologies in agreed time scales to cost quality in line with programme objectives.
- Produce structured work files, technical memos and technical reports to the client defined formats and in line with agree quality procedures.
Required experience
- Finite and damage tolerance experience
- Signatory certified
Knowledge
- Familiarity with MSC NASTRAN, FEMAP and LS-DYNA or similar packages is required
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken
- Sound engineering judgement, a co-operative and open attitude and an enthusiasm to develop ones skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, be self-tasking, and able to work under tight timelines
