Systems Support Engineer
My client are currently looking for strong System Support Engineers to join their team on a 3 month rolling contract, this role is to be based on The Isle of Man. This is an immediate start for the correct candidate and it would be a one stage interview process.
All candidates must be willing to undertake a CRB if they do not already hold a valid one and if not living currently on the Isle of Man must be willing to complete the necessary documents to allow them to work there.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide day to day BAU technical support to 400 users and 150 virtual Servers.
- Provide 1st class Desk side and Server Side support to all the companies systems (HP/Windows OS ).
- Provide technical support and daily monitoring for Disaster Recovery.
- Provide business critical On-Call support through the On-Call Rota.
Key Experience/Skills:
- Microsoft Windows operating systems (XP & 7)
- Microsoft Windows Server R2
- Microsoft Exchange Server administration
- Active Directory and Networking skills
- Microsoft Office
- Tape backup systems, in particular Symantec Backup Exec 2010
- Virtualization technologies VMware, Citrix XenApp
- EMC SAN technologies
- Hold Microsoft certifications is any of the following, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCDST, MCITP.
