Description
Our client, a leading financial services group, is looking for a Senior Regulatory Reporting specialist, with expertise in Basel II and Basel III.
You will be the subject matter expert in finance topics, and provide a detailed understanding of a specific complex financial subject such as balance sheet, income, costs and provisions. You will also deal with ad hoc services, complex queries or analysis, where expertise is required, as well as managing a team of 3-4 people.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for the Basel II BAU reporting process, ensuring monthly, quarterly timetable is adhered to and all deliverables meet expected standards
Be actively involved in Basel II control & governance framework
Responsible for Financial Regulatory Reporting; build and maintain monitoring and control framework around Financial Regulatory returns
Stakeholder relationship management
Management and review from a financial control perspective of Treasury Liquidity reporting monthly outputs
Essential Criteria:
Experience of financial accounting within a Financial Services environment.
The jobholder must have substantial directly relevant experience in a technical financial environment.
Strong technical understanding of Basel II and Basel III
Accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
