Description
Responsibilities:- Responsible for all aspects of software testing, including writing test plans and test cases, planning, execution, data collection, analysis, and reporting on the software testing results
- Lead the team to streamline the software test automation environment and process
- Attend project meetings and represent the team as required
- Follow quality system to conduct software verification and validation activities
Qualifications:
Requires knowledge and skills normally acquired through the successful completion of Bachelor's or Master's Degree (B.S./M.S.) in related discipline, or equivalent experience. Typically requires at least 8 years of directly relevant work experience.
Must-have Skills:
- Expert in using one or more test automation tools (QTP preferred)
- Familiarity with one more scripting languages for writing test scripts
- Expert in test case design and test planning for quality, error, and regression testing
- Be proactive in identifying better and faster ways of performing / documenting tests
- Ability to prioritize testing issues and take appropriate steps to resolve
- Familiarity with software development life cycle
- Knowledge of general aspects of molecular biology
- Strong written and oral communication skills for communicating with different stakeholders
- Good team player
- Ability to work in a demanding, rapid iterative development environment
- Ability to learn new scientific domains quickly
Highly desirable Skills:
- Experience working under FDA Quality System Regulations
- Experience in bioinformatics tools
- Basic understanding of Java
