Description

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all aspects of software testing, including writing test plans and test cases, planning, execution, data collection, analysis, and reporting on the software testing results
  • Lead the team to streamline the software test automation environment and process
  • Attend project meetings and represent the team as required
  • Follow quality system to conduct software verification and validation activities


Qualifications:

Requires knowledge and skills normally acquired through the successful completion of Bachelor's or Master's Degree (B.S./M.S.) in related discipline, or equivalent experience. Typically requires at least 8 years of directly relevant work experience.

Must-have Skills:
  • Expert in using one or more test automation tools (QTP preferred)
  • Familiarity with one more scripting languages for writing test scripts
  • Expert in test case design and test planning for quality, error, and regression testing
  • Be proactive in identifying better and faster ways of performing / documenting tests
  • Ability to prioritize testing issues and take appropriate steps to resolve
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle
  • Knowledge of general aspects of molecular biology
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for communicating with different stakeholders
  • Good team player
  • Ability to work in a demanding, rapid iterative development environment
  • Ability to learn new scientific domains quickly


Highly desirable Skills:
  • Experience working under FDA Quality System Regulations
  • Experience in bioinformatics tools
  • Basic understanding of Java
