The role requires deep technology knowledge and the ability to develop SharePoint and .NET solutions in line with business requirements. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Solution Architecture. Principal duties: Develop solutions Assist the Head of Solution Architecture to define and document technical requirements Design and prototyping of solutions Build and maintain applications using object oriented methodology Design and build workflows Design and customise SharePoint and .NET solutions Support the business On-going support for SharePoint applications Plan and implement software version upgrade releases Troubleshoot and debug Issues with SharePoint Monitor system performance and conduct performance tuning where required Interface with Microsoft Corporation for technical support Qualifications, Skills amp; Competencies: Relevant Microsoft certifications in SharePoint and .NET technologies Knowledge of Data Modelling and Data Integration Knowledge of development methodologies, with the utilisation of Team Foundation Server Ability to work as part of a development team Excellent understanding of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 platform Knowledge of scripting with PowerShell Solid understanding of C#, and .NET Framework Additional technical requirements include hands-on experience in several of the following products or technologies:.NET Development Platform (Visual Studio, .Net Framework), JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, ASP.Net, SQL Server Databases, MS SQL Reporting Services, XML, Web Services
