Description
Seeking a Systems Engineer to join a leading global Medical Device Company for a 12 month contract to hire opportunity located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. The engineer will be working with disposable medical devices. This position is offering $60-$70/hour and has the potential to convert into a permanent opportunity.This company is seeking this talented Systems Engineer to join a thriving team that is involved in developing a number of new plastic disposable products that they are looking to bring onto the market.
Responsibilities include:
- Translating documents to Systems requirements that are testable and verifiable
- Ensuring that the risk file is complete with input from design and quality engineers
- New product development tasks working with the full life cycle of product development
- Working with Solid Design Controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or Masters degree
- Minimum of 5 years engineering experience
- Minimum 3 years in the Medical Device industry
- Knowledge of plastics is highly preferred
- Systems requirement management
- Solid Design controls expertise and understanding
- Understanding of Section 820.30 of the Quality System Regulation which lists the design control requirements that manufacturers should satisfy to be in compliance
