Description
Our client is a major brand synonymous with the UK Power Generation and Distribution market who are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Officer to join them based in Castle Donington and for around 6 months.
You will need to be driven and dynamic and have proven and documented NEC3 experience as well as demonstrable expertise in running tender events.
All candidates will need to have strong Excel and PowerPoint hands-on experience.
Role Profile:
To support the implementation of the Capital Delivery Contract Strategy into the Delivery Vehicles, integrating the recommendations of Global Procurement, Delivery Units and the business objectives of Capital Delivery.
Experience Required:
*Knowledge of Electricity Transmission would be beneficial
*Experience of successful multiple project delivery
*Experience of working with NEC3 terms and conditions
*Ability to produce work of a high standard to tight deadlines
*Effective communication skills including the ability to make persuasive presentations to small and large audience
*Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint ability
*Strong negotiating and influencing skills
*Able to demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and problem solving
*Track record of developing working relationships quickly and effectively both internally and externally
*Ability to bring creative and innovative new approaches to the business
*Commercial acumen, including procurement and supply chain experience/knowledge
