My London based client is looking for a Communication Officer/Public Sector Communications Officer for a 6 month contract.
Skills needed for the Communication Officer/Public Sector Communications Officer:
*To work flexibly to deliver the client's communications activity across a range of channels, including partnerships, media relations and web
*To support workstreams and projects to ensure smooth transition to the new client.
*To actively contribute to developing communications objectives and strategies to drive business compliance with relevant legislation
*To implement this communications activity across channels including partnerships, media relations and targeted online activity, based on GCN principles
*To evaluate this activity against its objectives using appropriate metrics
*To work closely with colleagues across communications to align and integrate strategies and activity
*To play an active part in the media relations work of the press office
*To support the client's successful transition to the new client's on projects as they arise
All responsibilities and duties should be developed and delivered in line with the Government Communication Network's no cost/low cost, partnership, digital by default, delivery and evaluation guidelines and the Professional Competency Framework.
