Description
- A Payroll Tax Accountant is needed to perform the following tasks:
- Assess and document the various state/local withholding mandates
- Formulate a plan of action for possible implementation of withholding
- Assist with the administration and support required to facilitate the withholding
- Assist with the reconciliation associated with implementing the withholding
- Documentation of all withholding rules and assist with employee communications
- Assist with the implementation and delivery of internal withholding procedures and processes associated with the withholding changes
- Assist with Year-end activities as they relate to the additional withholding requirements
SKILLS
Experience filing payroll tax federal, state and local returns
- Experience filing amended returns for above
- Experience with multi-state taxation
- Experience with addressing tax notices
- Experience developing payroll tax job aids
