Description

The role we are looking to fill is a person who can function as a technical expert to help the company participate within the Web Portal Working Group of the PA PUC's EDEWG (Electronic Data Exchange Working Group) to develop standard guidelines to align with national standards for the exchange of electric historical interval usage. The Web Working group is an organization comprised of utilities within PA and other stakeholders in the industry to develop a set of standards for the exchange of this information through a method other than EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). The role requires expertise for data exchange via web portal and preferably based on, the national standards being suggested by organizations such as NAESB (North American Energy Standards Board). We need a strong technical voice that can represent the company's position in this working group and assist in developing standards that align with the company's systems.

  • Web Security standards.

    Required Professional Skills:
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • Occasional travel to Harrisburg for PA PUC meetings

    Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of NAESB standards a plus, particularly PAP10
  • AMI/Smart Meter Solutions
  • Industry trends regarding sharing 3rd Party Data
  • Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
  • Utility Deregulated Business Processes. PJM/EDEWG Standards a plus.
  • Ability to support and drive discussions/decisions at PA PUC EDEWG Web Standards group meetings
  • Supervising process and functional design activities
  • Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
  • Understanding of complex billing and CIS system models in the Energy & Utilities space
