Market and Credit Risk Manager
A new position has become available for a Market and Credit Risk Manager to be responsible for providing detailed challenge and guidance on the identification, assessment, quantification and monitoring of market and credit risk. The purpose of the role also will include providing robust and independent challenge to managers on their management of Market and Credit Risk. As Market and Credit Risk Manager you will be part of the second line of defence and play a key role in establishing and maintaining the policies and minimum standards in relation to market and credit risks throughout the business.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Advice and Support
- Reporting and analysis of risk exposures
- Validation of financial risk processes and controls
- setting of policies and standards
Skill set and experience:
- Relevant industry experience of management of market and credit risk within an investment management firm in a second line and/or first line function
- Relevant industry experience and familiarity with derivative contracts and their inherent risks
- Excellent analytical skills, in particular in relation to financial information
- Ability to demonstrate challenge to senior financial professionals
- Excellent PC skills including in particular Excel and Word
