Solution Design Architect - Abu Dhabi - 12 Months Contract
Solution Design Architect required by blue chip client.
To work on 6 projects alongside Business Analysts and at the direction of the Enterprise Architects requirements as per Client Architecture strategy
Role:
*Participate and own where applicable process flow analysis and process redesign
*Produce detailed functional design document to match requirements
*Complete and co/implement configuration workbook
*Co-team with the Enterprise Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
*Preparation of E2E Architecture & Interface Design
*Technical lead in the execution phase of customer projects (System Integration projects) and ensure delivery of solution and deliverables as per design
*Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document
*Preparation of Security/PKI for EIS in conjunction with Corporate PKI
*Participate/Lead UAT efforts
*Participate in training design, documentation and delivery efforts in concert with the Project Manager
Preferred skills/experience:
*Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs
*Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
*Should have hands-on expertise in some of the following technologies: Jbos, PostgreSQL, APEX, VisualForce, Workflows, OBM, Integration/EAI technologies (eg Pervasive, Informatica, Jitterbit, ESB), C++Java/J2EE, including SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc), Common frameworks such as struts, spring, hibernate, etc. and Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)
*Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
*Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Prince 2 and Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices
*Must maintain professional knowledge and relationships
