Description

Integration Architect Wanted!

My client is a leading government agency looking for an Integration architect to come on board on to join the PDS (Property Data Service) project at its outset.

Purpose
The Architect is expected to analyse and produce the appropriate architecture artefacts to facilitate the successful commissioning of the PDS solution. In turn, PDS provides the organisation with an established, senior information services capability for property and related information. The architecture artefacts produced by the Architect will make up the bulk of the definition of these property-related capabilities and therefore directly influence and impact the value generated by PDS for customers. The Architect will be expected to produce standard-form architecture artefacts that model the target-state architecture of PDS. As may be required, the Architect will produce artefacts containing current- and interim-state views of the PDS architecture. At a conceptual level, the Architect will be expected to produce during the PDS Define phase:  Architecture Vision providing a summary of the changes to the enterprise that will accrue from successful deployment of the PDS target architecture. The Architecture Vision will provide PDS business and IT stakeholders with a formally agreed architectural outcome and provides a summary version of the full Architecture Definition. The Architecture Vision will contain as needed: identification of stakeholders and their concerns, list of issues and scenarios to be addressed by the PDS architecture. The Architecture Vision will contain, as needed, summary views of the Business, Application, Data, and Technology Architectures. The Architecture Vision will include a Property business domain value chain diagram and PDS solution concept diagram. Information System (IS) Service Portfolio containing a registry of the specific identified IS Services to be delivered by the PDS project. Each service will have its scope, participants, patterns, quality of service expectations, and delivery priority described. Solution Options Paper (SOP) containing a detailed effort estimate and accompanying analysis of the preferred PDS architectural option. Analyses and presentation of detailed effort estimates of non-preferred options may also be contained within the SOP as required. At a logical level, the Architect will be expected to produce during the PDS Delivery phase: Architecture Solution Definition (ASD) providing the qualitative, holistic view of the PDS solution. The ASD contains the core standard-form logical Business, Data, Application and Technology architecture artefacts as produced by the Architect through the course of the PDS project. The ASD presents, both diagrammatically and in tabular forms the impact assessment of PDS on processes, applications, users, and data. The ASD defines, as necessary, any required interim states of the PDS architecture and the temporal relationship of these to PDS current- and target
