Job Purpose of the Customer Relations Specialits:
To process the review of files or complaints to agreed standards and within defined guidelines, deciding on outcomes after completion of full investigation. To provide an efficient and effective complaint handling service to policyholders, with minimal supervision and following guidelines but also seeking out information not available initially and applying judgement to resolve cases. To demonstrate that complaint handling embraces THE and is compliant with TCF, meeting these specific objectives.
Skills of Customer Relations Specialist:
*A good general knowledge of the Life and Pensions Industry is needed and substantiated by a CF qualification.
*ICS or 6 Sigma qualification desirable
*Appropriate product knowledge substantiated by product tests
*Enhanced communication skills - written and verbal
*Problem solving and decision making.
*Commitment and self-motivation to work within deadlines with minimum supervision.
*Flexibility
*Customer focus, able to communicate at all levels
*Able to manage and service customer needs, aware of customers perceptions and requirements.
*Ability to contribute to procedural changes and documentation
*To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.
