DUTIES:
- Providing SME to Enterprise Vault configuration and incident resolution.
- Provision of storage and backup capabilities in line with project and work request requirements.
- Reporting on and managing storage and backup capacity.
- Amendment and creation of new documentation inline with existing standards.
- Implementation and management of new storage hardware deployments.
- Managing and troubleshooting storage issues which include following escalation paths, both internally and externally and liaison with storage vendors.
- Working with the storage design engineers to bring new capabilities into the support team.
SKILLS
- Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Vault.
- Proven understanding of Enterprise Storage Architecture and Administration (NetAPP).
- Proven ability to integrate storage platforms in large and complex environments.
- Certification in one or two of the NetApp, and EMC storage technologies will be advantage.
- Experience of managing fiber channel SAN Switches like Mcdata, Brocade and Cisco storage Switches.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following operating systems: Solaris, Windows or Linux.
- Flexible and willing to learn new technologies and applications.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated experience with ITIL based incident, change, problem management processes.
