Role: Interim Employee Relations Manager
Location: London
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Negotiable

I am currently working with a client, an NHS Trust based in the London area, who require an experienced Interim Employee Relations Manager to be responsible for the provision of a first class advisory service on individual ER and change management issues.

The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to ER advisors and line managers on a range of human resource management issues. A key function of the role is to develop the skill and capacity of managers to empower them to manage people issues effectively and independently.

Brief Duties

*Ensure that employee relations issues are managed in line with good practice as outlined in Trust policies, through the provision of a first class advisory service and the development of line managers' people management skills
*Provide expert employee relations advice on highly complex, sensitive cases and on the interpretation and application of Trust policies and procedures
*Ensure that training materials for the workforce policies and procedures course are up date and facilitators available for all sessions
*Develop and roll out bespoke organisational development and training initiatives
*Provide expert advice to support the development of Workforce Strategy and contribute to the development of Trust wide policies

Requirements

*Extensive track record of operational ER achievement
*Evidence of effective working at a senior level in large, complex, high performing environments
*Significant experience of facilitating and managing change and complex employee relations cases
*Ability to analyse complex problems and to develop practical and workable solutions.
*Able to provide authoritative advice on highly complex workforce issues and demonstrate developed persuasive, motivational and negotiating skills
*Ability to analyse and understand business, financial and workforce data
*Ability to interpret and apply HR knowledge to the Trust workforce strategy
*Sound, up to date knowledge of HR best practice, employment law and current thinking and developments in HR
