Senior Localisation Engineer - Trados Experience Required - Galway, Ireland
My Clients Language Technology Team provides global support, infrastructure and consulting for language tools onsite. We are looking for an IT Technology Localisation Engineer to join this excisting team.
You will work on support tasks and requests specific to language technology tools and functionality, with a main focus on SDL Trados 2007 and SDL Studio/Groupshare server environments.
You will have a strong IT background and can work well on a multi-cultural team in multiple locations.
Years' experience in an IT expert role in the localisation industry.
Key Skills required;- Provide stable technical environment to internal and external users
- Technical support for infrastructure issues and service requests on SDL Trados 2007 and SDL Studio/Groupshare server environments
- Coordinate and execute server provisioning, setup, installations, upgrades, configurations and performance optimization
- Strong and active industry knowledge of the translation technology tools especially SDL
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server
- Experience with language technology and tools
- Very organized with high attention to detail
