Description
Mainframe Developer - PL1, DB2 - 6 Month Contract - Dublin
We are currently seeking a Mainframe Developer for a 6 month contract for our Dublin based customer.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the development, testing and maintenance of software solutions
- Working with other development teams you will deploy and support software releases to test and production environments
- Provide test support during the Systems/integration and UAT phases
- Provide input to the technical design of the solution
Requirements
- Extensive experience in PL1, DB2, Chgman and Tablebase
- Experience in IBM CICS and MQSeries would be highly desirable
- Ability to translate functional specification into software code with minimal assistance
- Good Quality Assurance skills
- Banking experience would be an advantage
- Ability to contribute as a team player in a dynamic and motivated team
- Good communications skills and the ability to work with colleagues in other development and infrastructure teams.
