Proteus Europe are seeking a dynamic IT manager with coding and development experience (PHP and SQL).
You will need to lead the existing team of developers and be able to communicate on their level (this team will be expanding in the future).
Manage the expectations of the senior management team and keep them up to date with the day to day and the future requirements.
The current systems for development and project management need to be re-structured and updated and the candidate will need proven experience in managing the development and project management process.
These processes will need to be documented and internal users trained in the correct way to maintain these systems.
You will be responsible for growing the company in conjunction with the plans laid out by the senior management team, but also have the ability to advise on potential direction changes where needed.
You will be responsible for managing the progress of internal development projects combing all departments within the company to ensure all jobs are on target.
You will also be responsible for the external projects and making sure all relevant parties are sticking to a defined structure and delivering solutions on time and if not reporting to the correct parties and implementing solutions to stop any delays.
