Description
Urgently recruiting for Senior & Lead level Piping Stress Engineers to work on a high profile project on a contract basis for a globally established EPC Contractor based in Surrey.The project is a high value, high profile international project, the level of candidates required is a high level of seniority.
As the ideal candidate you must be able to demonstrate working experience of:
- Preparing stress analysis, calculations and complies documentation.
- Develop design standards or complex details as needed with minimum supervision
- Have working knowledge of Code for Pressure Piping, ASME 31.3, ASME 31.1, ASTM, ANSI, API standards and apply these requirements on projects.
- Make preliminary manual/computer line stress calculations (including thermal, dead weight, loop, etc.) with modeling, loading calculations and summaries of piping systems.
- Be knowledgeable of stress/strain theories as applied to strength of materials.
- Perform stress analysis of advance complex systems using AutoPIPE with minimum supervision and with conclusive results regarding suitability of the design.
- Have experience in specifying and procuring Stress Engineered Supports.
