Description:
You design the most appropriate alternative that meets the business requirements.
You implement according the standards in place.
You create scripts to extract, transform and load data from large number of sources into QlikView applications.
You implement the data model that will meet the business requirements with the expected performances.
You manage reporting, analytical tools and dashboards using QlikView technology.
You set up the security inside the reports using QlikView technology.
You manage the scheduling and management of the application via the QlikView Management Console.
You document the implementation for both business users and operational technical team.
You transfer the knowledge to the service and support team.
You train the business end-users on the implementation.
You contribute to the definition and the execution of the end-to-end tests and to the parallel tests.
You apply structure knowledge to solve problems, break down issues, and identify/implement solutions.
You deploy the solution according the IS processes in place.
You coach a junior colleague.
You report to the project manager.
Qualifications:
You have a strong experience in data modelling, developing complex QlikView data models.
You have experience in BI application design
You have a knowledge in relational databases and SQL queries
You have a thorough knowledge of the operation and architecture of BI solutions and BI concepts.
You have a strong knowledge of the QlikView technology.
You can optimize implementations to improve the performances.
You have a good knowledge of French or Dutch and are fluent in English (oral and written).
You are a self-starter able to work proactively and work independently but also as a team player in complex project organizations.
You have excellent communication skills (verbally and written) on all levels with the ability to articulate to both technical and non-technical audiences, both internal to the company as external.
You can easily and simply explain complex subjects.
You are capable of multitasking & prioritizing in a fast paced and agile work environment
You take particular attention to details and are rigorous in your work.
