I am currently looking for 5 Experienced Testers. My client is a telecommunication operator in Asia.
This will be an initial 5 months contract.
Job Description - Experienced Tester
- Effective System Testing/Sanity Test of modules and systems
- Manage test schedules and test activities on modules assigned
- Review System Test Specifications
- Create test cases and perform walkthrough of the test cases to the business user
- Test preparation work, test data, test equipment and test cards to be used for testing
- Support User Acceptance Test and Ensure User acceptance of customer deliveries and dealing with all test issues on modules assigned. Appropriate escalation where needed
- Execute System Test Cases on modules assigned
- Review test cases and test results
- Manage Problem Notes reported with vendors on resolution, closure and retest
- Maintain cohesive and clear documentation supporting tasks, issues and analysis
- Communicate and work effectively with other members of the team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous Test Experience in the Telco industry minimum of 3 years preferably in a BSS/OSS environment. Demonstrable testing abilities
- Knowledge in Ericsson IN Charging Platform including CCN, SDP, EMM EMA, BSCS or CRM will be advantageous
- Scripting Languages such as Perl, SQL, Shell
- Experience with Windows OS, UNIX, Linux multi-platform based development

The budget of the role is negotiable and dependent on experience.
