A client based in Woking is looking for a Senior Electrical Test engineer with motor experience. This will be for an initial 3 months (with extensions).
Role:
The candidate responsible for supporting the development, testing and validation of motors for automotive market. The candidate must have experience of setting up and managing test facilities.
She/he will be working on testing of electrical machines, inverters & electronic control systems. Also product validation at both product and sub-assembly level Environmental and EMC test experience.
This will involve configuring motors and contributing to motor development from an electrical/electronic perspective, also need be responding to customer queries regarding the sizing and control of motor and/or power electronic systems. The candidate will be specifying electrical components, wiring looms and schematics, investigating and specify sensor technologies for products.
Initial developing and implementing test plans for individual components and motors Investigating, specifying and configuring DAQ systems and test equipment for internal use. She/he will be producing electrical/electronic system content for product documentation, working with mechanical design team to produce application-specific motor and system designs
