£55,000 + Package + Expenses - London with travel
A medium sized consultancy, market leaders in their field specialising in software quality are seeking pro-active and innovative Principal Consultants.
As the QTP Developer / Principal Consultant you will be working with some leading household names in the private and public sector including Banking, Retail, Finance, Telecoms, Insurance and Energy.
Ideally situated in their easily accessible London offices the QTP Developer / Principal Consultants should be able to travel to various client sites throughout the UK and EMEA region.
You will be taking a leading role in the delivery of test automation and performance engineering solutions within a client facing environment. You will be working on client sites, both individually and as part of a team, on varying duration projects.
To qualify to discuss this opportunity in more detail you will be an expert, or even a bit of a guru in QTP, with an absolute minimum of two years continuous experience recently plus;
o A specialist Automated or Performance tester - not just a tester.
o You will know descriptive programming libraries in QTP and examples of this will need to be proven.
o Must know QTP object model in detail.
o Proven success preparing automated scripts using QTP/UFT and LoadRunner.
o Coding scripts without record replay will be expected.
o An in-depth knowledge of automated testing frameworks in detail and be in a position to explain them.
o Strong Programming skills with VBS / VBA and / or C.
o You should have an understanding of QC OTA model.
o Some experience customising HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or Quality Center (QC).
The role of Principal Consultant / QTP Developer is more suited to a Developer with QTP experience, rather than a tester with some coding experience.
In return the Principal Consultant / QTP Developer will be offered the opportunity to work on leading household clients throughout the UK and Europe within the Banking, Retail, Finance, Telco, Insurance and Energy sectors. The Consultant / QTP Developer will be partnering key figures within the software testing and QA industry delivering success time and time again.
A salary of £55,000 neg doe will be partnered by a market leading benefits package, full expenses and continued career development.
